No. The company and director details we hold are extracted from public records held at Companies House and other official sources.

Although we are happy to hide certain details (see below) we are unable to remove any records without exception. The purpose of Company Check is transparency. Allowing our visitors to carry out due diligence and check that the individuals they are doing business with are who they say they are. By hiding records, we would undermine this very ethos. Whilst we understand that some people have reservations about details being available on our website, the records we hold are public information and there is no legal requirement for us to hide any data.
No problem. We can hide company and director records from search engines such as Google, by adding a noindex tag to the page. This prevents Google finding your director page when they crawl the web and the page will no longer show in search results when someone keys in a related search term. To request removal from search engines, please use the Removal Request Form and ensure that you include your director ID number or company registration number. This is an automated process and an ID is required in order to action your request.
If your home address is showing this is because it is registered to your public record at Companies House. We are not authorised to amend an official record. If you hold any active appointments, Companies House will allow you to file a service address to prevent disclosure of your home address. You MUST file a form CH01 directly at Companies House. Changes will filter through to our database automatically within 10 working days. If you hold no current appointments, we can hide the address for you - see below.
The date of birth cannot be removed as it is necessary to distinguish directors. We understand some directors have reservations about a full date of birth being visible to general members of the public and therefore only show year of birth. If you hold no active appointments, we are happy to hide the year of birth - see below. A full date of birth is visible to customers who hold an account with Company Check and are logged in.
If you have no active directorships then you will be unable to file a service address in place of the home address Companies House has registered for you. In this case, we will hide your address on our website upon request. Please use the Removal Request Form and ensure that you include your director ID number. This is an automated process and an ID is required in order to action your request. The system will confirm that you hold no current appointments, and then hide the address and year of birth for you.
